FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: die head for pelletising ground secondary polymers comprises casing with ground material feed channel, pressure flange and extrusion nozzle with variable-length moulding channels. The extrusion nozzle convex surface faces the said feed channel. Note that the convex surface at the die head centre represents ellipsoid upper part that transforms into flat downward sloping surface representing lower part of one-sheet hyperboloid. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of granules thanks to optimum geometry of die hole cross section. ^ 3 dwg
