PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a service providing system for providing a proper service about an object.

SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 which requests a server 3 to provide a service to service object equipment 5 photographs a rescue mark 50 added to the object equipment 5, and performs access to the server 3 by reading a URL from a photographic image. An application is provided from the server 3 in response to a request from the portable telephone 1. When the application is executed in the portable telephone 1, the predetermined function information of the object equipment 5 is requested from the portable telephone 1 to the object equipment 5 by radio communication. When the application is executed, the function information acquired from the object equipment 5 by the radio communication using the portable telephone 1 is transmitted to the server 3.
