摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring a motor torque, capable of speedily measuring the torque of a DC motor by using an inexpensive configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A start voltage is applied by a power supply 3 in order to bring the motor M to start, and a start current waveform is measured from the start until the motor M comes into its steady rotation state being unloaded. Then, a no-load current waveform is measured while the motor M is in the steady rotation state being unloaded. Furthermore, an induced voltage waveform which is generated by the motor M, is measured just after stopping applying the start voltage. Then, the torque of the motor M is calculated based on these waveforms. In the torque calculation, an angular velocity vs. time characteristic of the motor M is calculated based on the no-load current waveform, the induced voltage waveform and a current waveform of a decay portion of the start current waveform succeeding the peak value point of the start current. Then, a mechanical time constant &tau; is derived from the current waveform of the decay portion, thereby calculating an inertia moment J of a rotor, and a torque vs. time characteristic is calculated based on the angular velocity vs. time characteristic and the inertia moment J. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
