<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent visibility of a display output result while coping with various environments flexibly. <P>SOLUTION: In a display device equipped with a plurality of display elements capable of changing a light transmission amount or a luminescence amount, a pixel region 11 for one pixel is configured by juxtaposing a first display element 110A-1 covered with a color filter, and a second display element 110A-2 which is not covered with a color filter, or is covered with a color filter of which light transmission rate is higher than the light transmission rate of the color filter in the first display element 110A-1.
