<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test ejection method and a test ejection pattern which can facilitate checking of kinds of driving signals respectively assigned to a plurality of driving elements. <P>SOLUTION: An ejection head has a plurality of nozzles n and the plurality of driving elements divided to a plurality of groups, and moreover has the driving signals different in type for every group assigned to the plurality of driving elements. The ejection head carries out the step of supplying the driving signal assigned to an object group made an object to eject liquid droplets among one of the plurality of groups to each of the driving elements which belong to the object group, and at the same time supplying the driving signal of the type that suppresses ejection of the liquid droplets to each of the driving elements which belong to the remaining groups, for all of the plurality of groups while changing the group to be the object group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
