APPARATUS FOR ARRANGING FIBER BUNDLE AND METHOD FOR ARRANGING FIBER BUNDLE USING APPARATUS FOR ARRANGING FIBER BUNDLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an apparatus for arranging a fiber bundle which is equipped with a pressing apparatus for pressing the fiber bundle.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for arranging the fiber bundle includes the pressing apparatus 39 mounted in a linear slider 14. A base plate 40 is secured to the linear slider 14 and a motor 41 is mounted on the base plate 40. When a screw shaft 411 of the motor 41 is rotated, a base frame 43 is subjected to parallel translation in the Z-axis direction. An air cylinder 46 is mounted on the base frame 43 and a shaft-supporting metal fixture 50 is secured to a driving rod 461 of the air cylinder 46. A pressing roller 52 in the form of a flat plate is rotatably supported through a supporting shaft 521 on the shaft-supporting metal fixture 50. The pressing roller 52 in the form of the flat plate is parallel to the X-axis direction and the Z-axis direction. The pressing roller 52 can be rolled on the inside of pins 38 along the rows of the pins 38.
