SWITCHBACK MECHANISM AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying switching mechanism and an image forming device not requiring a drive source capable of being normally/reversely rotated and performing switchback action for printing on both sides.

SOLUTION: A paper delivery device for a color printing device is made into a constitution where drive force of a fixed gear rotation in one direction without being normally/reversely rotated is transmitted, and a pivot gear 14 is attached to a branch guide 6 through a switch link 18 and a transmission link 24 as link parts. By turning the transmission link 24 by driving of a solenoid mechanism 23, the switch link 18 is interlocked to simultaneously perform switching of a paper delivery conveying passage 4, a double side printing conveying passage 8 and a switchback conveying passage 5 by the branch guide 6 and switching in a rotation direction of a transmission gear 17.
