PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a series type axial flow fan having an improved static pressure-air volume property while reducing the occurrence of interference sounds between axial flow fans. SOLUTION: The series type axial flow fan 1 comprises the first axial flow fan 2, the second axial flow fan 3 arranged on the lower side along a center axis J1 of the first axial flow fan 2, and an annular spacer 4 located between the first axial flow fan 2 and the second axial flow fan 3 and connected to the first axial flow fan 2 and the second axial flow fan 3. The diameter of each of the first impeller of the first axial flow fan 2 and the second impeller of the second axial flow fan 3 is 25-200 mm, and the height of the spacer 4 in the direction of the center axis J1 is 1.5-8 mm. With the arrangement of the spacer 4, the first axial flow fan 2 is properly isolated from the second axial flow fan 3, thus reducing the occurrence of harsh interference sounds when air from the first axial flow fan 2 flows into the second axial flow fan 3 and improving static pressure-air volume property of the series type axial flow fan 1 relative to a noise value.
