PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the conventional technological fault, that, when using recycled hydrochloride in chloromethane production, as Si compounds are brought in MeCl synthesis, so process uncertainty is increased, siloxane loss decreasing process yield appears and environment is spoiled. SOLUTION: A production method of chloromethane from methanol and hydrochloride spoiled with Si compounds comprising one or more of methylchlorosilane, methoxy methylsilane, and hydrolyzates and condensates thereof, comprises condensing a part of the Si compounds from the formed chloromethane, washing the remaining Si compounds with methanol, and using the obtained Si compound-containing methanol with hydrochloride in the production of chloromethane.
