PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying method and an article conveying device capable of reducing the cost required for workpiece conveying by preventing clogging of a workpiece. SOLUTION: The article conveying device is provided with an air tank 11 having a space inside; a replenishment hose 30 for feeding the workpiece W into the space of the air tank 11; an air compressor 40 for jetting air into the space of the air tank 11; and an outlet chute 12 for discharging the workpiece W to the outside of the air tank 11 through a workpiece discharge port 11b. The air compressor 40 jets the main air into the space through a main fluid jet port 11c formed below the workpiece discharge port 11b, and presses the workpiece W toward the workpiece discharge port 11b by a pressure of the main air. Further, the air compressor 40 jets auxiliary air from an auxiliary fluid jet port 11d formed on the air tank 11 toward the workpiece discharge port 11b, and adjusts attitude of the workpiece W near the work discharge port 11b by the pressure of the auxiliary air.
