FIXED WINDOW STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stability of a front end part of window glass extending forward, by lengthening a front end part of a fixed window of an automobile forward with an excellent outward appearance. SOLUTION: The fixed window 3 of the automobile is formed by fitting the triangular window glass 4 between a lower part of a front pillar 1 and a side body 2. The front end part 40 of the window glass 4 is extended up to a front position more than a lower end part 10 of the front pillar 1 by extending forward in a tapering-off shape along the rear upper edge of the front pillar 1 and the side body 2. An upward projecting level raising member 60 is arranged in a front side position more than the lower end part 10 of the front pillar 1 on the upper edge of the side body 2, and a window glass holding member 7 is installed on this member, and the front end part 40 of the window glass 4 is locked on and held by the window glass holding member 7 by a locking means 44.
