<p>The invention proposes a heat engine for a motor vehicle comprising a cylinder head (10) on an engine block in which at least one pair of adjacent cylinders (12, 14) is arranged, wherein each cylinder (12, 14) is supplied via an intake line formed in the cylinder head and an associated intake valve (16, 18), and the burnt gases are discharged via an exhaust line (24, 26) and an associated exhaust valve (20, 22), characterized in that the intake line (28) comprises a common upstream section (30) associated with two cylinders (12, 14) of the same pair, supplied by a common injector (32), and communicating with two downstream sections (34, 36) each supplying one of the two cylinders (12, 14) of the same pair, so that, during engine start-up, each downstream section (34) can be heated by the burned gases rising, during engine valve overlap, through the two downstream sections (34, 36).</p> |
