A unit for opening and shutting a duct and apparatus for cleaning a mold having the unit for opening and shutting a duct is provided to accurately open and close an opening of a duct. A unit for opening and shutting a duct comprises a door plate(110) opening and closing an opening(12) formed in one side of duct(10) inside the duct; a rotary axle(120) which fixes one side of the door plate, and penetrated through the duct in order to be rotatable; a driving part reciprocating the rotation axle in order to open and shut the opening.
