<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information medium excellent in antifouling property of the surface where a recording and/or reproducing beam is incident, and excellent in error rate characteristics upon reproducing information even when a fingerprint is left on the surface. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information medium shows the following property. When a dispersion liquid for evaluation containing 0.4 part by weight of Kanto loam which is the eleventh kind of test powder 1 specified in JIS Z8901 as a particulate substance, 1 part by weight of triolein as a dispersion medium and 10 parts by weight of methoxypropanol as a diluent is stuck in a given procedure to the surface of the optical information medium where a recording and/or reproducing beam is incident, the proportion of the area possessed by the dispersion liquid drops for evaluation stuck to the surface per unit area where the sticking procedure is carried out, is ≤6%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
