摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device capable of improving gradation characteristics, particularly, near the lowest and highest gradations when performing gradation display by applying an ON-voltage or an OFF-voltage to pixels in subfields prepared by dividing one field. SOLUTION: The one field is divided into odd-number subfields sf1, 3, 5, 7 of the shorter time side and even-number subfields sf2, 4, 6, 8 of the longer time side. Therein, the length of period of the odd-number subfields of the shorter time side is set shorter than the length of a period required for selecting the total scanning lines of first to 1,080th row in the order by using a scanning line driving circuit.
