PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a rack end feeling suitable for a driver, in a constitution wherein a steering wheel and a steering gear are mechanically separated. SOLUTION: When the steering gear reaches a rack end, a signal is inputted in a rack end signal detecting means 38. The rack end signal detecting means 38 actuates a rack end reaction force signal generating means 37, and inputs a command value increasing an electric current value in a driving signal producing means 36. The driving signal producing means 36 gives a driving force to a steering shaft 3 connected with the steering wheel 2 by the driving motor 12 according to a difference between a steering angle and a turning angle, thereby generating a steering reaction force.
