PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist grip, in which a grip handle housed in a housing part slightly rotates from a housing position into a half opening condition only by pushing it with a hand, becomes easy to grip with a hand, is then used under a fully opened condition at a using position, and is braked by a damper and returned to the housing position after use. SOLUTION: Holding means is released by pushing a grip handle housed in a housing position by the holding means, and the grip handle rotates to a half opened condition. Then, the grip handle can be used under a fully opened condition. When the use is stopped, the grip handle is returned to the housing position while being braked by a damper device with an energizing force of a spring. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
