<p>Disclosed is a method for producing an aromatic triamine compound represented by the following formula (1). (1) (In the formula (1), Ar<SUP>1</SUP>-Ar<SUP>3</SUP> independently represent an optionally substituted aryl group or heteroaryl group having 5-30 nuclear atoms; and L<SUP>1</SUP> represents an Ar<SUP>4</SUP>-Ar<SUP>5</SUP>-Ar<SUP>6</SUP> group wherein Ar<SUP>4</SUP>-Ar<SUP>6</SUP> independently represent an optionally substituted phenylene group or an optionally substituted heteroaryl group having 5 or 6 nuclear atoms.) This method for producing an aromatic triamine compound is characterized in that a compound represented by the formula (2) below is reacted with a compound represented by the formula (3) below.
