STRETCHING OUT PORTION BONDING DEVICE AND BONDING METHOD OF BOXLIKE PACKAGE

A turret portion rotates intermittently while holding a boxlike package (F). In the bonding mechanism (10) of a stretching out portion bonding device, the boxlike package (F) is held by a retaining guide (31) while folding the top flap to the top surface and projecting the stretching out portion (4a) from each side face (7b). A moving mechanism (33) for moving a heater section (39) obliquely upward from a lower part is provided between the side face (7b) of the boxlike package (F) and the stretching out portion (4a). The heater section (39) is provided with two heater planes (42) at positions facing the side face and the stretching portion, respectively. Folding guides (28) are provided to descend on the side face while penetrating a pair of long holes provided in the retaining guide (31). After the side face and the stretching portion are heated on the heater plane, the folding guide (28) is lowered and the stretching out portion is folded and bonded to the fused portion of the side face. Thereafter, both the bonding portions are pressed from the outside by a pressing mechanism.With such an arrangement, the stretching out portion and the side face can be heated and bonded without forming a welding crease on the surface.
