A water resistant molding material is provided to ensure appropriate fluidity and excellent water resistance after drying and to be suitable for a composition material contacting an aqueous material. A water resistant molding material comprises a binder resin containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin, water and aggregate. The concentration of an acetic acid ion in a water resistant molding material is within 500~12,000 ppm. The content of the water is 30~89 weight% based on the total amount. The addition amount of the polyvinyl alcohol resin is 0.5~22 weight% based on the total amount. The addition amount of aggregate is 3~55 weight% based on the total amount. |
