A control method of a refrigerator is provided to improve anti-noise efficiency by reducing the coolant noise regardless off the pause of the refrigerator. The control method of a refrigerator is composed of a drive pause step for stopping a compressor if the temperature of a storage room in which becomes the temperature control object reaches the set temperature range, and a step for cancelling the blocking if the proper set time passes after blocking the inflow of the refrigerant toward the evaporator for the proper set time to reduce the coolant noise generated in an evaporator after the drive pause step.
