摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method useful for controlling the gene expression of hepatitis C virus (HCV) in the use for various uses such as therapeutic treatment, diagnosis, target evaluation and genome discovery, and to provide a reagent for the method. <P>SOLUTION: There provided are small nucleic acid molecules mediating RNA interference (RNAi) against gene expression and/or activity of hepatitis C virus (HCV), such as short interfering nucleic acid (siNA), short interfering RNA (siRNA), double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), micro-RNA (miRNA), and short hairpin RNA (shRNA) molecules.
