<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader/writer which reads and writes data from/to a non-contact IC card that has a load of 3.5 A/m even if it is built in a compact device. <P>SOLUTION: The reader/writer has a reader/writer main body board having at least a reader/writer main body mounted thereon, and an antenna board with a means for transmitting and receiving signals mounted thereon. The antenna board is composed of an antenna, a resonance circuit, and an N-layer board (N≥2) which is provided with connection terminals connected to the reader/writer main body board. The antenna is formed as an antenna coil where a conductive material is spirally wound M times (M≥1) on at least two or more layers of the antenna board. The antenna coil is wound from a first pinhole 12B at the beginning of the outermost winding, and wound on the same winding line just before the next winding through coils 11B<SB>1</SB>, 11B<SB>2</SB>and 11B<SB>3</SB>. Just before the next winding, the wire of the coil is moved to the next winding line inside, and then the wire is wound on the next winding line, so that the area of an opening part 21B is enlarged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
