PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toner feed roller, which is high in permeability in a radial direction and is excellent in toner feedability, and to provide the toner feed roller obtained by the method. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a toner feed roller where an urethane foam layer (surface layer) is formed on a core bar, a raw material at least comprising the following components (A) and (B) and a catalyst and in which cream time is 15 to 30 s is foamed and cured onto the core bar, and thereafter, the surface of the resultant foamed body layer is blown with high pressure air, and crushing treatment is performed; the component (A): polyether polyol as a copolymer obtained by adding ethylene oxide to the terminal in which the content of the ethylene oxide is≥5 mass% of the whole, and also, the mass average molecular weight is 3,000 to 10,000; and the component (B): polyisocyanate comprising diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) or the derivative thereof by 3 to 35 mass%.
