PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree diameter measuring instrument which allows a measured tree to be identified easily and can improve operating efficiency and accuracy in tree diameter measurement. SOLUTION: The tree diameter measuring instrument 1 includes a measuring section 6 for measuring the diameter D of a tree T which is recorded in association with information on the tree T, or an object to be measured, and marking means 7 for performing marking on the tree T measured by the measuring section 6.
