The inverter (1) has a cooling device (7) for cooling electronic components (3) using a coolant. A heat sink (6) is formed as a hollow section for forming a cooling channel. The heat sink is connected with the cooling device for passing the coolant. The cooling device is connected with an inlet opening for the coolant. The inlet opening is arranged at a rear side of housing (2). The cooling device is formed by a radial fan. A sealant (23) is arranged between the heat sink and the cooling device.
