In this example, a connecting rod (803) of the clamp moving mechanism (80) is made to abut on a protrusion (30p) of the upper position regulating unit (30g). As a result, the position of the clamp moving mechanism (80) can be uniformly fixed by the adjustment of the upper position regulating unit (30g) of the binder paper line-up unit (30). When the binder paper line-up unit (30) and the binding mechanism (41) are combined, therefore, the effort for the fitting adjustment can be omitted.
