CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL AND A METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF

The inventive porous inorganic construction material, the density of which ranges from 110 to 700 kg/m<SUP>3</SUP>, the heat conductivity factor is of 0.035-0.17 W/(m·°C) and the compression strength ranges from 2 to 300 kgf/cm<SUP>2</SUP>, is produced according to a method consisting in pre-blowing a silicate mixture, which is based on a silicon-containing component (diatomit, tripolite, gaize, etc), alkali and water, in grinding said mixture and in finally blowing it at a temperature ranging from 450 to 900°C. The thus produced material is non-flammable, environmentally friendly and bio-, moisture- and frost-proof.
