<p>Functions of surface displacement and surface tension of a cable supporting a probe in a borehole are combined with a function of the measured tension of the cable in the borehole to produce an improved real-depth-equivalent function. Specifically the borehole tension meter may be placed at the end of the cable, and signals from the three meters fed to a computer.</p> |
