Tub of a washing machine with multiple fitting positions for motors

A tub (20) of a washing machine capable of being commonly used for motors (60,70) mounted on different positions and a washing machine including the tub are disclosed. The washing machine includes a tub which includes a first motor mounting portion (100) to mount a direct connection-type motor (60) thereon and a second motor mounting portion (200) to mount an indirect connection-type motor (70) thereon, a rotary drum (30) rotatably installed in the tub, and a motor mounted on one of the first motor mounting portion and the second motor mounting portion to drive the rotary drum. The first motor mounting portion (100) and the second motor mounting portion (200) are integrally formed as one body with the tub (20) when the tub is manufactured.
