The packaging unit comprises a container (10) and film-like materials (30) which are hygroscopic or become soft in the presence of moisture. The film-like materials are stacked in the container, and a chemically inert and physically durable separating material (40), such as a PET film, is arranged between them. Each separating material makes contact with two respective film-like materials. The separating material does not adhere to one of these film-like materials, or at least less strongly than it does to the other film-like material.
