A fitting type locator pin is easily inserted in a cross member without welding by forming the tightening force and is removed simply from the cross member with a tool. A fitting type locator pin comprises a guide axis(2) which is protruded up through a cross member hole(H) of a cross member upper(CU) of a cross member(C) and has a diameter greater than that of the cross member hole to be kept when inserted; a head(3) which forms a head unit with a diameter greater than that of the guide axis and contacts the inner side of the cross member upper; a tool position groove(4) formed in order to make the connection of a tool easy; and a latching member(6) which is fitted in a groove formed on the guide axis and contacts the external surface of the cross member upper.
