Packaging for a generally block shaped product is made from a wrapper of flexible film material encasing the product. The wrapper has a foldable flap portion (524) adjacent an end of the package which can be peeled open to expose dispensing opening. At least one peelable panel portion (584) is provided in a face of the package which can be peeled open to increase the depth of the opening. Peelable panel portions may be provided in two opposed faces of the package. The package can be formed using flow-wrap techniques and is particularly suited for packaging chocolate bars and the like. |
