A surface apparatus comprises a housing, and a fluid delivery system mounted to the housing. The fluid delivery system including a first fluid supply tank 44 for holding a first fluid, a second fluid supply tank 150 for holding a second fluid, a dispenser for distributing at least one of the first and second fluids from the respective first and second supply tanks 44, 150 to the surface being cleaned, and a mixing manifold 510E having an inlet 510A for the first fluid, at least two selectively controllable valved inlets 510C, 510D in communication with the second fluid supply tank 150 for delivery of the second fluid to the mixing manifold 510E and an outlet 510B coupled to the dispenser, wherein the proportion of the second fluid delivered to the dispenser can be selectively controlled. The arrangement can be used to vary the concentration of the cleaning detergent during different modes of cleaning. |
