A breast support, such as a bra that includes a semi rigid wish boned shaped support. The wish bone shaped support has two arms where one end of each of the arms is joined together, and at the opposing ends of the arms breast supporting means (1, fig 3) are located. When worn, the joint of the support is positioned against the back of the wearer, and the arms extend around the torso of the wearer allowing the breast supporting means to lift and support the breasts of the wearer. Preferably the breast supporting means are breast shaped cups that may be padded and fastened together by an elasticated clasp (1, fig 1). The support transfers the weight of the breast from the front to the side and back of the wearer, and not only provides up lift to the breasts but also supports the back of the wearer. Where the arms of the wishbone are joined together support a V-shaped elastic element (1, fig 2) may be positioned below the joint to create lift. |
