TERMINAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

A terminal management system and a control method thereof capable of managing all terminals regardless of a kinds of the terminal by using message(SNMP Trap) are provided to enhance the stability of control and the state confirmation of the terminal due to periodically transmitting a second message(SNMP trap) and enhance the management efficiency of the terminal within communication network. It determines whether to receive a first message including information about a terminal registration from a terminal. In case the first message is received, the terminal is registered(S620). A second message including basic identification information of the terminal is received from the registered terminal(S640). The state of one or more terminal is verified by using the basic identification information of the received second message(S650). The registered state of the terminal indicates whether the terminal is registered by a call processing system capable of call process.
