METHOD AND COMMNUNICATION NETWORK FOR IMPLENMENTING SEPARATING TERMINAL SERVICE FROM NETWORK

A method for separating terminal services from the network includes: configuring a network device and setting network transmission paths at different quality of service (QoS) levels; setting, by a network terminal or user terminal, a service identifier for each different service; mapping, by a network edge device, a service to a transmission path at a corresponding QoS level according to the service identifier for the purpose of transmitting the service. A communication network is provided by the present invention to implement the method, in which a service is mapped to a network transmission path at the corresponding QoS level established by the network management system according to the service priority in the service identifier, and a network transmission path at a proper QoS level is chosen to transmit the service based on the service requirements. The present invention makes it easier to provide and extend services, simplifies the network management, and enriches the operation modes of the operator.
