<p>A crystalline polyolefin such as polypropylene, is stabilized with an organic compound <FORM:0912564/IV(a)/1> wherein R is aryl which may be substituted with alkyl, alkoxy or acyl. Specified stabilizers are the 2-, 3- and 4-benzamidophenols. Calcium stearate may be included as an antiacid agent.
