A portable radio terminal includes a radio communication section, a storage section, an input section, and a remote operation signal sending section. The radio communication section receives, through a network, remote operation data formed from operation information and remote operation information corresponding to the operation informatipn and used to operate a device as an operation target by remote control. The storage section stores the remote operation data received by the radio communication section. The input section inputs the operation information. The remote operation signal sending section sends a remote operation signal for operating the device as the operation target by remote control on the basis of the remote operation information in the remote operation data stored in the storage section in correspondence with the operation information input from the input section.
