PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing color filters which makes a glass substrate accurate in spite of an increase in its size and does not degrade production efficiency at the time of producing the color filters by a transfer method on the glass substrate and an apparatus for producing the same. SOLUTION: The color filters 1 are produced by bonding a transfer sheet 16 comprising a transfer base material 13, a release layer 14, color filter layers 11, a light shielding layer 12, etc., to the glass substrate 4 with good accuracy via an adhesive layer 10 and releasing the transfer base material 13. The apparatus includes a coating application machine, a positioning and temporary sticking machine, a pressing machine, an exposing machine and a peeling machine. |
