The method involves purchasing a product (P1) and checking that an amount associated with the product is covered by a remaining unit. A request (RQ) with a code (CP1) and an identifier of a security module (SM) is transmitted to an administration centre (CG). Validity of the code is checked, and a rights confirmation message (CEMM) is transmitted to a user unit (STB). A temporary right (D1t) is written to the module when a remaining credit is equal to/higher than the amount, and is replaced by a definitive right (D1) using the message, where the right (D1) authorizes an access to the product. |
