<p>Heavy duty tire is provided in the tread portion with a circumferential groove (3c) disposed on each side of the tire equator and extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction and provided with a noise-reducing valvular wall (5). The valvular wall protrudes radially outwardly from the groove bottom, and the height DL of the radially outer end of the valvular wall from the groove bottom is 1.0 to 1.08 times the depth WL of the circumferential groove. The width TW of the valvular wall at the radially outer end is 0.85 to 1.0 times the width BW of the valvular wall at the radially inner end and 0.2 to 0.5 times the width SW of the circumferential groove at the tread surface.</p> |
