A test tube is provided to cut the cost of equipment because a printer and a labeler for attaching identification label to the test tube become unnecessary. A test tube main body(11) accommodating analyte including the blood and so on is made of glass or transparent plastic material. In the top opening(12) of the main body, the cap(13) made of the rubber or the plastic material is mounted. On the outer circumference of the body part(14) of the test tube main body, the bar code(15) indicating the identifying information is printed. Bar code is printed in the axial direction of the test tube main body. On one side or both sides of the bar code, a character(16) including the date of blood collection, the place of blood collection, the name of a blood donor is printed directly.
