Title cpd. of formula: is used as an anti-depresant. It may be prepd. by reacting 2-trifluoromethyl phenothiazine with beta-chloropropionyl chloride in an organic solvent, treating the resulting 10-(beta-chloropropionyl)2-trifluoromethyl phenothiazine with diethylamine, reacting the obtained 10-(beta-diethylaminopropionyl)-2-trifluoromethyl, phenothiazine with hydrochloric acid and separating the final product.
