A method for display a picture in picture is provided to output respective image signals corresponding to a plurality of modes through the picture in picture at a predetermined time interval sequentially. When a PIP(Picture In Picture) function selection signal is input(S302), the first image signal corresponding to the first mode is outputted through a main picture, an image signal corresponding to a mode different from the first mode is outputted through a picture in picture(S304) and it is determined whether a PIP automatic conversion key is input(S306). When an input signal does not exist after determination result of the PIP automatic conversion key, the output of an image signal and the determination process of the PIP automatic conversion key are repeated if an input signal does not exist(S308). After the determination process of the PIP automatic conversion key, image signals corresponding to other modes except the first mode are sequentially outputted through the PIP if the PIP automatic conversion key is input(S312). |
