A method for making a multi-compartment food tray (1) comprises the following steps: positioning at least two dish-style container elements (2, 3) close to one another, each having an edge (4) forming relative upper perimeters of each container element (2, 3); removal from a rigid sheet (5) of its portions forming relative openings (5a, 5b) with corresponding perimeters matching the internal perimeters of each of the container elements (2, 3); placing the sheet (5) over the two container elements (2, 3), covering at least the plan dimensions of the two container elements (2, 3) which are close to one another; connection of the edges (4) of each of the container elements (2, 3) to the sheet (5) to form a single tray element (1). |
