A method for displaying a pivot image of a TV is provided to display an image signal by automatically rotating a TV body and scaling an image to display an image signal when displaying a pivot image signal by determining whether an image signal is a pivot image signal, thereby conveniently displaying an image signal. It is determined whether an input signal is a pivot image signal through EPG information of an input image signal(105). When the input image signal is a pivot image signal, a settling state of an automatic pivot function is determined(110). When the automatic pivot function is not set or the input image signal is not a pivot image signal, the input image signal is scaled according to standards set in the TV and displayed. When the automatic pivot function is set, the input image signal is scaled according to a picture ratio of an original pivot image signal and a display body is rotated and displayed(115). |
