A card terminal updating program using an IC card for conveniently updating a card terminal is provided to allow a user to register the card terminal directly through the card terminal updating method using an IC card for conveniently updating a card terminal. Card terminal update management information is read out from an IC card in a card terminal(820). Program update request information is transmitted through a communications channel by using access information to a card terminal update management server(835). The transmitted program update request information is confirmed from the update management server and it determines whether to be necessary to update the card terminal(840). If so, the card terminal update program is provided to the update management server to the card terminal(845). |
