The device (1) has a lifting device (2), and a movable frame formed by a substantially horizontally placed rectangular roof construction (3) and connected with wheels (8-11), where the lifting device is one of electric, mechanical and hydraulic operated lifting devices. The lifting device is connected with movable carrier elements, where the lifting device is chosen from one of a vacuum-type coupling and a mechanical-type coupling. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting and positioning paving elements.
