CRASH BOX OF AUTOMOTIVE BUMPER SYSTEM

摘要

A crash box of a bumper for a vehicle is provided to reduce impact load exerted on passenger by embodying multiple absorption in case of collision. A crash box of a bumper for a vehicle comprises a front base plate(8) which is made from a non-ferrous metal to material, and is combined in the front side with a bumper beam; a front side bracket(4) including a front damper(10) which is integrally formed in the center part of rear side of the front base plate; a rear base plate(12) which is made from metal, and is fixed to a side member of a car body; and a rear side bracket(6) welded with an electromagnetic forming method, with the rear a rear damper inserted to the inner diameter part of the front side bracket.
